Being the new teacher on campus, Dr. Nash has brought new knowledge and experience to Brashier Middle College. Dr. Nash taught at Wren High School in 1962. He proceeded to obtain his Doctorate, and later accepted a job at Southern Wesleyan University; where he taught for 35 years. More recently, he has spent the last 4 years teaching at Greenville Technical College. “I love it here [at BMC]. The students are this school’s main attraction,” notes Dr. Nash. Dr. Nash has been impressed by the BMC student body. “Young people today don’t have the responsibilities like young people did years ago. As a result, they don’t progress as rapidly in their academic training. BMC students aren’t typical. Students are motivated disciplined and want to learn.”
