As this year closes, everyone is starting to look back on it.

It has been three years since Brashier Middle College started as a school. The school has seen many changes this year alone: a new class of 9th graders, a new upcoming building, new sports, and a new schedule.

The new building has been the focus of many students, particularly for the inaugural class. Junior Grayson McDonald said, “I think its really good that the school is keeping its promises, and the work crew is very dedicated, and I think a lot of students are looking forward to being in the new school.”

Another thing that made this year unique was the addition of the new ninth grade class. “My favorite thing about this year was all of the new people to meet,” said Emmanuel Houston.

Also, one of the most noticed changes that occurred this year was the schedule change; it changed to a modified block schedule.

The sports teams added new baseball and soccer teams. This added lots of excitement to the school year. The pep rallies that supported the seasonal sports also added something new for many students to look forward to.

Overall many students considered this a great year, and some claimed it as “their best so far,” and all wait anxiously for summer and the new school year afterwards.
