“Yay!! I made it (the team)!!” exclaims a excited female soccer player, running off to tell her friends. The Brashier soccer teams have been conditioning for many weeks.  Soccer Coach Mark Roberts says he picked the students on each team from the conditioning over the last 3 weeks and the two separate tryouts.  There were two tryouts because the first tryout was for the people that have been conditioning for the last few weeks, and the second tryout was for the students playing basketball.

The home games for both teams will probably be played at the old Woodmont high School (the same place as last year).  Roberts says, “The guys team will be better this year.  I expect them to win the regionals.  For the girls team they will be much better this year, and I expect them to win the regionals.”

There are going to be two different lists of players who made the teams that will be posted.  The reason there is two lists is because the first list includes the people that have been going to conditioning.  The second list is for the people who play basketball that also want to play soccer.

The first nine people on the girls team are: Danielle Ballantyne, Monica Cleland, Kristen Goforth, Brittany Lamont, Alexa Leopold, Jamie Murry, Caitlin Robinson, Vanessa Steadham, and Sarah Theisen.

the first Seven people on the guys team are: Rugeed Alakhwan, Sabian Clark, John Eron, Sam McAlister, Dorian Nagro, Zack Singleton, and Kevinn Weatherly.
