After about an hour of doing many drills like passing, shooting, and short field matches, also known as controlled matches the Brashier Middle College soccer small groups are done with their small group practice. Small groups were started by Coach Mark Roberts to get the players ready for the soccer season. Sophmore Megan Hart says, “the small groups were hard and fun and I wish there were more of them.” The groups are only allowed to meet once in the preseason according to state regulations. The groups will meet/ met for about an hour. Sophmore Kyle Stevens says, “I haven’t had my small group practice yet. I don’t think it will be hard, just a good review on the fundamentals of soccer.”
