Prosperous Season

The end of basketball season is near.  As of right now the Varsity Boy’s basketball team is 12 - 10. Last year the varsity boys finished with a 2 - 18. Coach Cavin said, “The team has vastly improved and has made a 180 degree turn around.” Cavin said, “Paul Smythe is the most improved player of the season and Jonathan Jackson is a player we can’t afford to lose.”

Jonathan Jackson said, “Basketball at this school has taught me to not only work as a team but to keep my grades up as well.”

Cavin is very grateful and appreciates the staff and administration that showed up at the games. Cavin also said he greatly appreciates Mrs. Rosemary Abercrombie, Cruell, and Mrs. Leigh Ann Wheeler who showed up to all games and cheered the teams on.

Cavin advises rising juniors and seniors looking to play varsity sports next year to practice all they can, have excellent grades, and to be greatly devoted to the team.
