Let There Be Tennis

Rosemary Abercrombie, better known as Ms. A, loves the thrill of playing competitive tennis, and the “thwock” sound that the classic yellow rubber ball makes when it hits a catgut tennis racket. She likes it so much, in fact, that she would be willing to start a school team with permission from Mr. Sinclair. This team would be comprised of about fifteen players, preferably players who are already familiar with how to play tennis. As for this team could happen in the near future, Athletic Director Bibb said “…maybe next year. To start a team, you have to find a coach, find student interest, and put a schedule together. It’s hard to do something like that in the middle of the year.” Another reason, according to Ms. Abercrombie, is that the season has already started. It appears, for now, that the Bengals will have to wait until next year for a tennis team.

If Brashier does start a tennis team next year I would love to join. I playesd last year and I am familiar with how to play. I hope that we can have a girls and boys team.
