Javier Yudice began teaching at Brashier Middle College in the middle of the school year.  He quickly built a reputation among his students for his discipline and stern nature.  “…He’s cool,” states Junior Wade Cooper.

Principal Mike Sinclair states, “Senior Yudice is eager to learn new ways of helping his students and provide them with his unique life experiences.  His experience in Afghanistan allows him to share the importance of teamwork, commitment, and hard work.”  As Yudice remembers his first week at BMC he states, “I don’t know which was tougher, Afghanistan or my first week here.”

He receives high praise from a majority of his students and his co-workers for his realistic and honest demeanor.  “It’s like the most interesting class of the day.  It feels like we don’t do anything, but it’s actually very productive…” says Junior Keenan Gambrell.  Freshman Jamie Burgrun and Sophomore Andres Lagarcha give Yudice a high compliment. “He is the most trustworthy hero of a teacher that Brashier could have asked for.”  Teacher John Kabel says, “He is a very committed individual.”
