Tech Club’s newest project, the Bengal Blimp, has succeeded in its test flight. Unfortunately, this three foot long zeppelin still needs a name. The Tech Club also needs more funds for additional accessories that will be used with Blimp.

Mr. Getty had this to say about the uses for the blimp. “We would like to use the blimp to draw attendance to games, as well as assist with advertising the school at other functions. We’ve got some ideas about possibly dropping incentives from the blimp, like free dress passes, candy, etc. We’re not sure yet exactly how to do all this, but we’re working on it.”

Originally, the fundraising goal of one hundred dollars was enough to pay for the blimp and its remote control. Accessories were going to cost an extra fifty dollars. Now, thanks to Amazon.com, the Tech Club will be purchasing the blimp and some of the accessories for about one hundred two dollars.

For a limited time, any two dollar donation will put the paying student’s name into a raffle to name the blimp. Remember, the name must be school appropriate. Fundraiser information can be viewed on the school’s main webpage www.brashiermiddlecollege.org.
