School report cards are in and available on line at www.ed.sc.gov.  School report cards are statistics that show how a school is performing according to state standards and is categorized by county. These statistics show test scores, teacher status, and how our school stacks up to other schools like us.  As Mr. Sinclair announced at the beginning of the year, 100% of the Junior class passed at least one of the tests on the HSAP and 96% passed the whole thing, HSAP is the state graduation requirement test, and the school did well on our EOC tests. The scores are higher than that of other schools with students like our students. Some students weren’t surprised by these statistics. “I saw it coming, our school has higher standards than many other schools,” said Sam Armbruster a Junior and one of the original students.

Also according to the report card, BMCCHS has no students at risk of failing.  The lowest student was rated as average.  The school also met 8 out of 8 requirements for student progress. Another Junior, Marc Fevrin, said, “It’s kind of expected because of the way this school works, and how you can ask for 1 on 1 time and below an 80 is failing.”
