“He’s funny, he’s goofy and his beard makes me laugh,” said Freshman Riley Miller. “He’s a beast dude,” commented Sophomore Rugeed Alakwhan. Sophomores Paul Smythe and Savanna Cook said, “We like what little eyebrows he does have.”

What are they talking about, you might ask? Brashier’s Biology and Environmental Studies Teacher Bill Smith. Having taught two years at Brashier, Smith has a lot of love for and from his students. “His class is really fun and interesting,” said Junior Allie Pazdan. Mr. Smith had a really good reason why he started teaching. “I started taking care of teenage mother’s babies, and I liked the interaction. Plus, I miss learning,” said Smith.

When asked, “Why do you like working with Mr. Smith,” Brashier’s Administrative Assassistant Kathy Forbes answered,  “He’s funny, he’s a smart guy, and I like his light up pig.” Mike Sinclair, Brashier’s Principal, had a very kind thing to say. “He’s commited to is students, no matter the amount of time or creativity involved.” Brashier’s Sophomore Betsy Treadaway commented that her favorite thing that she did in his class was taking a field trip to the Oconee Nuclear Station.
