Furman University Hosted its Second Anual ‘A Hero’s 5k Run’

Furman University hosted it’s second anual A Hero’s 5k run on Saturday morning. The event started at 8:30 in the morning and lasted until 12:00 p.m.. The event hosted the bands; Somewhere North of Here, Kylie Hinze, and an acapella group. Around 200 runners showed up for this event to honor all of our nation’s heroes; past and present. The event also honored the recently passed PFC Justin Whitmire, and SPC Geoffrey Whitsitt and their families.
