On the afternoon of Monday, November 9^th, a representative for Herff Jones came to discuss purchasing class rings with the Juniors. Class rings, as the representative explained, are an old American tradition and are extremely important in one’s high school experience. Many groaned because they expected the rings to cost an arm and leg to buy, in the current economy, students worried they might not be able to purchase rings. But, ears perked up once the speaker went on to reassure the students that rings can be affordable. There is one ring priced in the eighty dollar range. Packets were passed out and it wasn’t long before each student was already imagining what their future ring would look like. What is more exciting to students is knowing Brashier will also be having a formal ring ceremony for the students when the rings are delivered.
