 A new Junior at Brashier this year is Jerry Taylor. He plays JV basketball and is a lifeguard and swimming instructor at the Eastside YMCA. He went to Eastside High before coming to Brashier to take college classes.

“If I could describe myself I would say I’m really shy, quiet, nice, and kind to everyone. I make friends really easily,” Jerry says. He likes hanging out with friends, going to parties, playing basketball, swimming, and being a lifeguard. Jerry not only enjoys playing basketball, but it is also his favorite sport to watch on TV. “Sports are my absolute life,” he says.

Jerry wants to travel the world someday. He has already been to England, Germany, and Italy, and he wants to visit Australia too.

Hanging out downtown and eating Italian food are some of Jerry’s favorite things to do. He also likes Bob Marley and Sublime and, of course, basketball.
