Feature – Taneshea Young

“Fairytales can be real if you just believe,” said Taneshea Young.
This is a line from the song “Words” by Anthony David, and it is one of Taneshea’s favorites.
Young is a senior at BMC. She hopes her fairytales come true one day.
According to her friends, Young has many talents.
“I think Taneshea is good at singing and doing hair,” Senior Cherith Blaha stated.
Young takes vocal lessons at the South Carolina Institute for Vocal Training. She has been doing hair since she was twelve.
“Not only do I cut and style my own hair, I also cut and style other people’s hair.”
When asked about going into a career with hair, young said she did not know what career she wanted to go into.
“I do want to go to college for accounting and Business Management though,” Young explained.
When young isn’t thinking about the future she is enjoying life.
“She is also very funny. She is always laughing at something or someone,” Senior Marc Fevrin stated.
