first of all that is what i got from the lyrics of the music…and i dont like the song that much. But i have listened to their other works and i love them <3 it's really annoying that the one song that's different from the others is their most popular

The Girls Golf Team only made it as far as the Upper-State Championship. It was still a first for them but they did not advance to the State Championships.

Great album from a great band. Their biggest problem is still their lyrics, though, which are kind of clumsy. It’s especially a problem on this album because it’s a concept album about two lovers who start a revolution and I don’t think Coldplay could really pull it off. But it’s not too much of a problem since the story isn’t really prominent.

I’m glad their guitarist, Jonny Buckland, gets more to do on this album. He’s really good at creating interesting, textured riffs. The whole first half is good– the first three songs, “Hurts Like Heaven”, “Paradise” and “Charlie Brown” are fantastic, but after “Princess of China” it kind of loses steam. I still think Viva La Vida and A Rush of Blood to the Head are better, but this is really good and I wasn’t disappointed.

Nick, i believe “pumped up kicks”, if you had actually bothered to look into any meaning in the song is very much in recognition of bullying and abuse. It’s not about some random kid going to school and just shooting a whole bunch of “preps”. Besides, any other song by Foster The People is definitely different and if some people would just look beyond the fact their most publicized song is a tad morbid then I think the group would get more recognition. Also because the song is almost eight months old, not their newest song. Take a minute-look up some of their *other* music.

i think that for people like me…who cant go to parties…it’s really fun…I’d rather go trick or treating than stay inside all night
