What Friends Are Like…

You can’t choose your family, but you can choose your friends. But as time goes on they become more than friends, they become your brothers and sisters. They know how to help, they know how you feel, and they know what to say. You can turn to your friends whenever you need to, for they are always there for you. You can tell them things that you can’t tell others. You ask them thing you can’t ask others. You let them read what you are writing and you don’t care. You can give them hugs and not feel odd about it later. You can tell them that you love them and not feel odd about it. If someone hurts them you want to go and hurt that person back. If someone hurts you they want to go and hurt them back. They can make you laugh at the craziest things. They can ask you questions that are not meant to be funny but they ask them when your upset so it is, like questions about candy wrappers. You can turn to them for whatever. That is a true friend.
