If you are currently taking or will be taking college classes, then you can get a Greenville Tech Library card. This card will be used to check out books from the Greenville Tech Library. You can access the library from online by going to www.gvltec.edu/library. You can apply online to get a library card by going to the website and clicking “Apply.” You will then receive your library card in approximately one week.
The library contain books, CDs, and DVDs. You can keep an item for 4 weeks, except during the last 4 weeks of a semester, when the due dates become the last day of the semester. Some books may be on reserves, which mean they have a shorter loan period. Those items checkout one at a time for a two-night period. You can renew items if they don’t exceed $10.00 and if someone else doesn’t request the item. You can also renew books online by clicking on Catalog, then My Account, and then click on Renew My Materials.
If there are any questions, you can find a Greenville Technical College Library brochure in the main office of Greenville Tech.
